About Us:
The Burlington Gymnastics Membership (BGC) is an award-winning not-for-profit membership established in 1968 and a member of Gymnastics Ontario since 1977 – we have now served the Burlington group for over 50 years. BGC is residence to 2 disciplines of gymnastics: Inventive and Rhythmic. We offer all kinds of inclusive leisure and aggressive packages for gymnasts of all ages and talents.
The BGC is at the moment inviting purposes for the full-time place of Managing Director which may have total accountability for day-to-day management and operations administration aligned to our Technique, Imaginative and prescient and Mission.
Key Obligations:
Management & Individuals
- All elements of individuals management by means of a training mindset that fosters a tradition of engagement and Range, Fairness & Inclusion.
- Manages all worker lifecycle milestones – recruitment, onboarding, improvement, efficiency, retention, retirement, offboarding.
Day-to-Day Operations
- Duty for all elements of membership communications, operations, and services administration in compliance with membership By-Legal guidelines, insurance policies/procedures and relevant laws, and many others.
- Delivers an distinctive gymnastics and repair expertise for our members.
- Manages the working finances by means of a powerful understanding of P&L levers, program profitability and prudent expense administration.
- Fosters a piece atmosphere the place everybody is targeted on and adheres to security and danger administration practices (i.e., Secure Sport, Gear Security, OHS, and many others.).
Strategic Initiatives
- Contributes to quick and long-term strategic planning in collaboration with the Board of Administrators.
- Executes strategic initiatives that concentrate on organizational progress, governance, and deeper connections inside and out of doors of our membership.
Expertise & Schooling:
- College diploma (B. Commerce, B. Enterprise Administration, Sports activities Administration) or MBA. Completion (or willingness to finish) Nationwide Teaching Certification Program (NCCP) programs.
- A minimal of 10-years expertise in a senior management function, managing a cross-functional staff, as a enterprise proprietor and/or main a sports activities group.
- Sturdy teaching capabilities to foster and develop a cohesive staff atmosphere with DEI rules deeply engrained.
- Strong understanding of economic statements and P&L levers with the flexibility to drive sound enterprise choices based mostly on analytics & reporting.
- Deep understanding of a number of HR disciplines (i.e., recruitment, efficiency administration, compensation, coaching & improvement).
- Expert change management capabilities and undertaking administration expertise
Working Atmosphere:
